Prayer
Jesus, meek and humble of heart, make my heart like Yours today.
You who emptied Yourself completely on the Cross, teach me to empty my ego, my need for approval, my secret ambitions. When I feel overlooked or wronged—like Jeremiah surrounded by plots—remind me that You see, You know, and You redeem every injustice.
Into Your hands I commend my spirit; save me in Your faithful love. Give me the grace to serve quietly today: one kind word, one unnoticed act, one “yes” to carrying someone else’s burden. Let me drink the cup You drank—not seeking glory, but sharing in Your saving love.
Mary, Mother of the Servant King, wrap me in your mantle when I falter. Help me follow your Son down the road of humble service, all the way to Easter joy. Jesus, I trust in You. Amen.
