O God, who for the salvation of souls
willed that the Bishop Saint Francis de Sales
become all things to all,
graciously grant that, following his example,
we may always display the gentleness of your charity
toward all, through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God, for ever and ever.

A Short Daily Prayer / Morning Offering
Heavenly Father,
on this Memorial of Saint Francis de Sales,
thank You for the gift of this new day and for the example of gentle holiness he showed us.
Help me to imitate his patience, kindness, and devotion—
to become “all things to all” in love,
speaking truth with charity,
and living my faith amid the ordinary duties of life.
Through the intercession of Saint Francis de Sales,
grant me the grace to treat others with gentleness,
to seek You in all things,
and to grow in love for You and my neighbor.
I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings of this day
for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart,
in union with the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

- Gospel: Mark 3:20-21 (or sometimes extended to 3:31-35 in related cycles) — Crowds press on Jesus so much that He cannot even eat, and His relatives think He is “out of his mind” — highlighting how radical commitment to God’s will can be misunderstood by those closest to us.
