Bishop and Shepherd of Souls
Saint Flannan was an Irish bishop known for his humility, pastoral care, and deep love for Christ and His people. He lived during the early centuries of Christianity in Ireland, a time when faith was being firmly planted through prayer, sacrifice, and courageous leadership.
Born into a noble family, Flannan chose the path of service rather than honor. He became a monk and later was appointed Bishop of Killaloe, where he devoted himself to teaching the faith, guiding souls, and caring especially for the poor and forgotten.

and help us to trust in God’s will
