Three emails released by House Democrats show convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein telling associates that “of course” President Donald Trump knew about Epstein’s relationships with young girls.
The messages, dated between 2011 and 2019, were released Nov. 12 by Democrats on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. The emails include Epstein’s correspondence with his associate Ghislaine Maxwell — who is now serving a 20-year prison sentence — and author Michael Wolff.
“I want you to realize that that dog that hasn’t barked is trump..” Epstein wrote in a 2011 email to Maxwell. He added that an unnamed victim “spent hours at my house with him ,, he has never once been mentioned.”
In a 2019 exchange with Wolff, Epstein wrote: “trump said he asked me to resign, never a member ever. . of course he knew about the girls as he asked ghislaine to stop.”
Another 2015 email between the two discussed whether Epstein and Wolff could “craft an answer” for Trump’s upcoming CNN interview, with Wolff suggesting Epstein would have “valuable PR and political currency” if Trump denied visiting his home or plane.
Rep. Robert Garcia, D-Calif., the top Democrat on the Oversight Committee, said the documents raise “glaring questions” about Trump’s past ties to Epstein.
“The Department of Justice must fully release the Epstein files to the public immediately,” Garcia added in a statement. “The Oversight Committee will continue pushing for answers and will not stop until we get justice for the victims.”
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt condemned the messages’ release during a Nov. 12 press briefing, saying the emails prove Trump did nothing wrong.
“These emails prove absolutely nothing other than the fact that President Trump did nothing wrong,” Leavitt said. “And what President Trump has always said is that he was from Palm Beach, and so was Jeffrey Epstein. Jeffrey Epstein was a member at Mar-a-Lago until President Trump kicked him out because Jeffrey Epstein was a pedophile, and he was a creep.”
Leavitt said the unnamed victim in Epstein’s email was Virginia Giuffre, who died by suicide in April and has maintained that “there was nothing inappropriate she ever witnessed, that President Trump was always extremely professional and friendly to her.”
Republicans on the Oversight Committee responded quickly by releasing 20,000 pages of material they said came from Epstein’s estate.
“Why did Democrats cover up the name when the Estate didn’t redact it in the redacted documents provided to the committee? It’s because this victim, Virginia Giuffre, publicly said that she never witnessed wrongdoing by President Trump,” they said in an X post.
Earlier this year, the Trump administration released a transcript of a courthouse interview with Maxwell in which she acknowledged that Trump and Epstein once had a social relationship but denied any connection between the President and the trafficking network, The New York Times reported.
Still, speculation continues to swirl as both Democrats and Republicans press for more information about Epstein’s death and public figures’ possible connections to his sex-trafficking network.

Rep. Adelita Grijalva, D-Ariz. — who was sworn in the afternoon of Nov. 12 — is expected to become the 218th signatory on a discharge petition filed by Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., to compel a House vote on releasing all Department of Justice files tied to Epstein. The measure already has the backing of all Democrats and three Republicans in addition to Massie: Reps. Lauren Boebert of Colorado, Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, and Nancy Mace of South Carolina.

As CatholicVote reported, if the threshold of 218 signatures is met, there is a seven-day waiting period before the petition can be introduced, after which the House speaker has two days to bring it to the floor.
Trump, who has called speculation over Epstein’s death a “hoax” by Democrats, has long denied close ties to Epstein, even though the two were photographed together in the early 2000s, according to the Times. In July, Trump sued The Wall Street Journal for defamation after it published a story alleging Trump once wrote Epstein a 2003 birthday note referencing a “wonderful secret.” The White House has denied the signature’s authenticity, though House Democrats have continued to insist it is real.
