New footage of ICE shooting incident released, reportedly from officer’s perspective

Alpha News has obtained and released a 47-second video reportedly taken by the U.S. ICE officer involved in the deadly shooting of Renee Nicole Good, 37, in Minneapolis Jan. 7, giving another filmed perspective of the incident.

The graphic video is reportedly from an ICE agent’s vantage point, close to Good’s SUV. At the beginning of the video, the agent gets out of a vehicle and approaches Good’s.

At this point, the driver’s-side, front-seat window of Good’s SUV is down. As the agent approaches, she says to him: “That’s fine, dude, I’m not mad at you.”

The agent walks around Good’s vehicle holding his phone camera and captures the vehicle’s license plate.

From the filmer’s perspective, as he continues to walk around the car, another woman is near the SUV, has her phone out, and appears to be recording the agent.

The agent then walks around the other side of the SUV and the woman outside of it can be heard saying, “You want to come at us? I say you go get yourself some lunch, big boy.”

Moments later, another agent approaches the driver’s side of Good’s vehicle and says “Get out of the car. Get out of the f—in’ car.”

CNBC reported that the woman outside the vehicle “walks over to Good’s car as if to get into the front passenger seat” and tells Good “Drive baby, drive!” as she grabs the door handle.

Good reverses her vehicle briefly, then drives forward, in the direction of the agent holding the phone camera, who had now walked fully around toward the front of the car. The camera falls and the agent can be heard yelling, “Whoa!” Then shots ring out. Good’s vehicle is then briefly seen driving forward before crashing.

Someone in the video is heard just before the crash saying, “F—in’ b–tch.”

Liz Collin, senior reporter with Alpha News, posted to X Jan. 9: “Sources with direct knowledge of the case tell @AlphaNews that it was another officer, and not the officer who shot Renee Good, who says ‘f**king b—’ at the end of this video.”

Vice President JD Vance shared Alpha News’ video on X, stating: “Watch this, as hard as it is.”

“Many of you have been told this law enforcement officer wasn’t hit by a car, wasn’t being harassed, and murdered an innocent woman,” he continued. “The reality is that his life was endangered and he fired in self defense.”

Others have strongly criticized the officer for using lethal force against Good, pointing to the same footage as proof that he was at fault in the deadly incident.
