About St. Leonard of Noblac
St. Leonard of Noblac was a 6th-century Frankish nobleman who gave up his wealth and status to follow Christ. Known for his deep faith and devotion, he founded monasteries and dedicated his life to prayer and works of mercy.
He is especially remembered for ministering to prisoners and helping them obtain freedom, which is why he is honored as the patron saint of captives. His holiness and charitable works inspired countless people to live lives of faith and service.
St. Leonard died around the year 559, leaving a legacy of compassion and courage in serving those in need.
