Catholic Colleges Wrestle With AI in the Classroom

Several educators at Catholic institutions of higher learning highlighted the ironic fact that students who overuse AI — i.e., those who let AI do their schoolwork for them — are not developing the essential foundational skills necessary to use AI responsibly in the future.

Educators and students at Catholic universities now must navigate a rapidly evolving landscape where AI presents unprecedented opportunities for learning coupled with significant risks.
