New document makes a number of recommendations regarding marriages between Orthodox and Catholic parties.
Most notably, the document, which does not speak officially for either ecclesial entity, recommends that the Orthodox Church recognize Catholic marriage and the Catholic Church take steps to recognize Orthodox remarriages.
