CV NEWS FEED // The Holy See Press Office announced on Sunday, February 18, the second and final session on the Synod of Synodality.
“The General Secretariat of the Synod communicates that the Holy Father Francis has established the dates for the Second Session of the XVI Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops which will therefore take place from Wednesday October 2 to Sunday October 27 2024, to continue the work of the Synod on Synodality on the theme ‘For a synodal Church: communion, participation and mission’,” the statement said.
The Second Session of the XVI Assembly will take place, like last year, at the Pope Paul VI Auditorium at the Vatican.
Also according to the announcement, the participants are expected to arrive in Rome on September 29, since the event will be preceded by two days of spiritual retreat, from September 30 to October 1.
