Morning Offering
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings
of this day for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart,
in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world,
for the salvation of souls, the reparation of sins,
the reunion of all Christians,
and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father this month.
Amen.
A short prayer inspired by today’s readings (from 1 Kings and Mark 7:31–37, where Jesus heals the deaf and mute man):
Lord God,
You open ears to hear Your voice and mouths to proclaim Your praise.
As You healed the man brought to You in the Gospel,
touch our hearts today: loosen what binds us,
heal what is closed off from Your grace,
and help us listen attentively to Your word.
Through Christ our Lord.

Prayer to St. Catherine de’ Ricci
O glorious St. Catherine de’ Ricci,
you who were favored with the stigmata and profound union with the sufferings of Christ,
teach us to embrace our daily crosses with love and patience.
Intercede for us that we may grow in devotion to the Passion of Our Lord
and imitate your humility and charity.
