Happy Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes (February 11), when we honor the Blessed Virgin Mary’s apparitions to St. Bernadette Soubirous in 1858. She revealed herself as the Immaculate Conception, called for prayer, penance, and conversion of sinners, and led to the discovery of the healing spring—reminding us of God’s mercy, Mary’s maternal care, and the power of faith even in suffering.

O ever Immaculate Virgin, Mother of Mercy,
Health of the Sick, Refuge of Sinners, Comforter of the Afflicted,
you know my needs, my troubles, my sufferings.
Look upon me with mercy. When you appeared in the Grotto of Lourdes,
you made it a privileged sanctuary from which you dispense your favors,
and where many sufferers have obtained the cure of their infirmities,
both spiritual and corporal. I come to you with unbounded confidence
to implore your maternal intercession.
Obtain, O loving Mother, the granting of my requests.
Through gratitude for your favors,
I will endeavor to imitate your virtues,
that I may one day share your glory in Heaven. Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for us.
