Saints Timothy and Titus were close companions and trusted co-workers of Saint Paul the Apostle, chosen to shepherd early Christian communities during the Church’s formative years. They are remembered as faithful bishops who helped preserve sound teaching and strengthen the growing Church.
Saint Timothy served as bishop of Ephesus and was known for his gentleness, purity, and dedication to the Gospel. Saint Titus became bishop of Crete and was entrusted with organizing the Church and correcting errors in teaching and conduct. Both received personal letters from Saint Paul, now part of Sacred Scripture, offering guidance on leadership, perseverance, and faithfulness.
Their lives remind us of the importance of faithful leadership, sound doctrine, and spiritual fatherhood in the Church.

The Letters to Timothy and Titus in the New Testament are called the Pastoral Epistles because they offer guidance on Church leadership and pastoral care.
Prayer to Saints Timothy and Titus
Saints Timothy and Titus,
faithful shepherds and servants of the Gospel,
pray for bishops, priests, and all Church leaders.
Help them teach with truth, lead with love,
and remain steadfast in faith.
