‘Put the Guns Down’: Catholic Sisters Launch Campaign to Curb Gun Violence

The Sisters of Bon Secours along with seven local Catholic congregations are launching a citywide advertisement campaign against gun violence in Baltimore. The ad features the message “Put the Guns Down, Let Peace Begin with Us” and a QR code linking to the campaign webpage.

Sister Dowling said the campaign aligns with the congregation’s charism and is also ‘deeply personal.’
