Pilgrims ‘in Awe’ as 1,500 Arrive in Tiny Maryland Town for National Eucharistic Pilgrimage

Many people were struck by the number of people who took part in the Eucharistic procession in Emmitsburg, Maryland, on June 6.

It was likely the largest gathering in Emmitsburg since Mother Seton’s canonization in 1975.
